Glittery. Sparkly. Flashy.
While this image immediately makes me think of fancy fun, given some factors in my life, it leads me to compare it to notions of fronts, superficiality and shallowness.
How is it that people in your life you can get along with and enjoy the company of also display less appealing qualities of their personalities, and remain a part of your life because you choose for them to? Is that insanity on one’s part? It’s really a matter of weighing out the good vs. bad, but even though the former outshines the latter, the fact of the matter is that the latter still exists. No one is perfect, I acknowledge this, but if the bad in someone affects you in ways you prefer it not to, but still is highly outnumbered by the good… can there be pardon? Or is it really just a crack in the foundation of a relationship that will inevitably fall?
